 [14:30] <shirish>  good evening people :)
[14:42] <shirish>  aparna: are you working on task 31 ?
[14:43] <shirish>  I just asked for some clarifications from Raju on that, perhaps we could get some more info.
 [14:43] <shirish>  see https://project.hamaralinux.org/work_packages/31
[14:43] <shirish>  aparna: let me know what you think.
 [15:08] <aparna>  Hi Shirish
 [15:08] <shirish>  Hi aparna
[15:09] <aparna>  No I didn't start yet was little busy
 [15:10] <aparna>  Will do it
[15:10] <shirish>  aparna: I can do the IRC part, although would like that clarification.
[15:10] <shirish>  aparna: do you have any idea if the idea is for the channel, the server or the client ?
[15:10] <aparna>  Ok I will do the bootable pendrive part
 [15:11] <aparna>  shirish:No
[15:12] <shirish>  aparna: I will wait for raju to clarify and then move ahead with that.
[15:13] <shirish>  aparna: you could see if you can find instructions of debian-live usb and see if the same can be replicated for hamara.
[15:13] <shirish>  if that works then it would be easier both in the short-run and the long-run as it would be same/similar
[15:13] <shirish>  and we would get benefits of any improvement and bug-fixes that debian has.
[15:14] <shirish>  also the side-benefit that the code will not bit-rotted anywhere.
[15:15] <shirish>  aparna: if you do find that if some of the instructions on the debian-live-usb don't work on hamara (apart from the naming issues and what else) we could use the list to discuss and see where it is failing.
[15:15] <shirish>  aparna: also can you see an .iso somewhere or would you be using the 'oldish' .iso for that (the ubuntu-based one) ?
[15:17] <shirish>  The only ones I see are at https://www.hamaralinux.org/download and they are the old ones http://downloads.hamaralinux.org/final/hamara_1.0.1_i686.iso
[15:18] <shirish>  I wouldn't mind getting on the action as well if there was a link to the small .iso, maybe a net-install one like debian has rather than a standard install which would require 700 something hdd space, just too much space and time to download.
